In support of Southwestern Christian College, which is recognized as a historically black college located in Terrell, Texas—a home-cooked Southern comfort Meal will be served prior to the 15th annual “An Evening of Spiritual Harmony” at the Northside Church of Christ, 19818 US Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, TX 78258, on Saturday, September 28th, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The menu for the meal includes corn soufflé, green beans, a choice of mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes; and one choice of meat (angus roast beef or chicken in Marsala gravy); a roll, and iced tea. Prepaid tickets cost $15 for 13 years old to adults and $8 for children 12 years old and under. Checks can be made payable to SwCC Fund. The Songfest begins at 5:30 p.m. Spiritual melodies will be performed by the 2019 Southwestern Christian College Summer Tour—students who are currently enrolled at the college. SwCC is an accredited four-year educational college (limited to a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Religious Education), with a two year associate program in the liberal arts. The school began operating in the fall semester of 1949 and was charted as a religious, co-educational institute.
Additional groups performing at the concert feature the edifying voices of Sterling, DAWN, the Hour of Truth Chorus, Hims of Praise, 11 year-old Sahriah Rogers, and The Company from Ft. Worth.
