Please make plans to attend Prime Connection, a free and open to the public event hosted by the Bexar County Small Business & Entrepreneurship Department
The Bexar County Small Business & Entrepreneurship Department invites you to make plans to connect with TxDOT, Bexar County, San Antonio International Airport, City of San Antonio, and VIA with a couple of events we will be hosting later this month.
Please make plans to attend Prime Connection, a free and open to the public event hosted by the Bexar County Small Business & Entrepreneurship Department on Wednesday, September 25th at Freeman Coliseum in the Frontier Club from 1pm to 5pm.
Small, minority, woman owned, and locally owned companies get a chance to hear from public agencies and general contractors on the latest projects they have that may have a DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) goal. The main draw of the event is that companies primarily operating as subcontractors get a chance to speak with different general contractors and hear from them about their upcoming projects as well as what they look for in their subcontractors.
Some of the primes in attendance are listed in the attached flyer. If you would like to attend please register at: www.bexar.org/prime-connection
Once you find out about the opportunities if you need help with growing your finances, make plans to attend The Access to Capital Conference taking place on Friday, September 27th at the Maestro Entrepreneur Center. This event, being held from 8:30am to 1:00pm is co-hosted with US DOT Gulf Region Small Business Transportation Resource Center. The goal is to give attendees valuable tools, tips, and strategies to help them get loans, credit lines or equipment financing for their business needs.
