Aligning our thoughts and dreams...
EINSTEIN USED 16% OF HIS BRAIN
Many years ago, some researches subscribed to the now debunked myth that most of us use less than 10% of our mental capacity. The philosophy revolved around the pop culture myth that a genius like Albert Einstein used approximately 16% of his brain capacity. So, during a recent United Nations summit a world leader espoused about how large his brain happens to be and why the world was a better place because of its enormity. If the 10% myth were true, then damage to the unused portion would have no effect on most of us. In fact, even a small impairment to the brain would cause significant mental damage. In addition, brain scans have proven that every portion of the brain is actively engaged
No, I am not turning into someone who researches brain activity. I am still a fan of conscious decision making and of goal setting. But we must first raise our awareness and knowledge regarding the human psyche. Those who manipulate human behavior and decision-making view human behavior from a Freudian perspective. According to Psychology Today, Freud defined the mind as three components, each with their own purpose. The preconscious consists of anything that could potentially be brought into the conscious mind.
The conscious mind contains all the beliefs, experiences, emotions, and desires of which we are aware of at any given moment. This is the aspect of our mental processing that we can think and talk about rationally. This also includes our memory, which is not always part of consciousness but can be retrieved easily and brought into awareness.
The unconscious mind is a reservoir of feelings, thoughts, urges, and memories that are outside of our conscious awareness. The unconscious contains contents that are unacceptable or unpleasant, such as feelings of pain, anxiety, or conflict.
HAVE WE ABDICATED OUR POWER?
The advent of technological advances and the speed of information allows those who are not altruistic the power to exact profound influence over the masses. Freud’s research has been weaponized and used as a tool of mass influence. Political strategists have discovered certain words, phrases or images that insight emotional, unconscious reactions or behavior. Imagine if Hitler possessed such a weapon! Nazi Germany succeeded because the state controlled all information channels. They used it to create a campaign of fear and mistrust. It worked until will power of the Nazi forces was broken. It was broken when they realized that all the wealth obtained during their various conquests were divided among the inner circle. Troops were cold, starving and without weapons. The same can be said about this administration. One day we will all awake and find ourselves with a several trillion-dollar deficits, environmentally ravaged, and our reputation as a world leader destroyed! All because we as citizens have abdicated our power! We have allowed the deep state to compromise our subconscious. All our fears and darkest dreams have been used against us.
The solution? Free your mind! Make conscious, deliberate decisions. Practice ethical goal setting with an emphasis on ethical.
