VIA to Host Public Workshops for Phase 2 of Rapid Transit Corridor Studies
SAN ANTONIO (June 30, 2017) – The community is invited to comment on Phase II of VIA Metropolitan Transit’s Rapid Transit Corridor (RTC) Studies, and to learn how public input helps shape route designs and transportation options for our region. The RTC studies focus on the addition of a Rapid Transit Network, consisting of four possible corridors: East-West, Northwest, North-Central, and Southeast corridors. Attendees can learn more by participating in any of the scheduled meetings or attending an online workshop, where they can also provide feedback. Community input will help VIA create tomorrow’s transportation choices, including routes and infrastructure.
