The Spurs had one member in uniform during the NBA All-Star game on Sunday.  LaMarcus Aldridge, who leads the team in scoring (22.4 ppg), rebounding (8.4), field goal % (50%), and blocks (1.2) represented the Spurs on Team LeBron.

Team LeBron outlasted Team Stephen 148 – 145 in a game that featured defense unlike past games.  LeBron James and Kevin Durant teamed up to apply defensive pressure to Stephen Curry in the closing seconds to not allow the best shooter in the NBA to get off a good shot.  James led his team with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists to earn his third MVP award.  In other All Star weekend events, the World defeated the USA, while Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns won the Three-point contest.

In doing so he broke the previous record in scoring 28 points.  Donovan Mitchell, rookie of the Utah Jazz competed and won the Slam Dunk contest.
