The losing streak continues as the Spurs took to the road and came away empty handed. With one of their roughest schedules behind them, the Spurs look to rebound with a six game home stand beginning with Orlando which is the only team without a winning record. The Spurs will finish the month against 8 of 9 teams with records above .500. If there is a silver lining to this unwanted streak, the Spurs have been in every game until the end with a chance to win except for the game against Houston, the team with the NBA best record thus far and against Oklahoma City. The losing has moved the team from an earlier 3rd place to a current 10th spot. The team stands at 37 and 30 and is in danger of missing the playoffs after 20 consecutive years and discontinuing its streak of 50-plus wins in a season.
Notes: Kawhi Leonard may be cleared to return to the lineup Thursday. LaMarcus Aldridge and Manu Ginobilli did not play in the Houston game.
