The Spurs completed their home court stand with a 6 game win streak to best their longest win streak of the season. LaMarcus Aldridge was a beast to handle as he averaged 32 points and 9 rebounds during the streak. On any given night multiple players made huge contributions including Rudy Gay, Danny Green, Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills, Kyle Anderson, and DeJounte Murray. Aldridge scored a career best 45 points in the overtime win against the Utah Jazz (124 – 120).
In a tight Western conference race the Spurs sit in 6thplace, one game ahead of both Minnesota and Utah. With 8 games remaining, every game is a must. Spurs took to the road for a Sunday matchup against the athletic Milwaukee Bucks but came up short in a 103 – 106 loss. Road game against Washington is being played at press time.
