Update on Face Mask Wearing- San Antonio

Last week, Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott overrode all of Texas' city Mayors when he did not mandate residents to wear masks.  Most of Texas' local city governments have not supported the message Abbott put out as he reopened movie theatres and restaurants at 25% occupancy, although explained how 'it's not on his list' to occupy those establishments right yet.

While the politics of all the Covid-19 continue to swirl, people continue to die.  Our San Antonio Mayor and County Judge have been steadfast and created a united front on mostly all Covid-19 policies and orders.  As we mentioned last week, when Gov Abbott announced the partial re-opening he also commended Bexar County on their work to keep the virus at bay.  The City of San Antonio and Bexar County continue to urge all to wear face masks (private stores may enforce mask wearing and ask you to leave if you do not comply).  Social distancing is a must and for those who must travel out, here are the businesses that you must be wearing a face mask to enter:  Sam's Club, H-E-B, Costco, SATX Airport, Wal-Mart, Target and Whole Foods amongst many others.
